High grade Koshirae and Shirasaya with Kantei

Attributed to Settsu Ju Minamoto Sukeharu - Edo period Enpo era

Katana blade:
Traditional rare quality forged blade
Nakago blacksmith Mei: Sukeharu saku
Province: Settsu
Hamon: Gunome pattern
Edged and Polish: Old but in good condition
Age: Enpō 延宝 era after Kanbun and before Tenna from September 1673 to September 1681. Emperor Reigen-tennō 霊元天皇. Edo period.

Blade measures:
Cutting edge: 76,2 cm.
-Nagasa (linear blade length without Nakago): 75,4 cm.
-Sori (blade curvature): 1,3 cm.
-Motohaba (initial section height of the blade or width at the Hamachi ): 3,2 cm.
-Sakihaba (section height in the initiation of Kissaki): 2 cm.
Motokasane: 0,8 cm.
Sakikasane: 0,5 cm.
Nakago lenght: 24,1 cm.
Habaki: Solid Silver fine engraved

Shirasaya:

Shirasaya Kantei: bizen'osafune jūnin sukesada-saku

 

Koshirae:

High grade quality Tsuru Rankaku Koshirae

Tsuka: Shonaizukamaki. A style of high rank Samurais.
